1. Name of the post : Assistant Supdt. of Fisheries

Pay scale : level 6
Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Masters Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries failing which Master’s Degree in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology from a recognized University.
- Knowledge of konkani and marathi is desirable.
2. Name of the post : Bosun
No of Post : 01 (OBC)
Pay scale : level 6
Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Second Hand Fishing Mates ticket issued by Mercantile Marine Department, failing which, two years Vessel Navigation Course in the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training, Cochin, failing which, six months Fisheries Training Course and second class Master Course conducted by Captain of Ports.
- Candidate should have at least 05 years experience on a fishing vessel.
- Knowledge of konkani

3. Name of the post : Fisheries Officer
No of Post : 06 (2-OBC,2-UR,1-EWS,1-ST)
Pay scale : level 5
Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries failing or Master’s Degree in Marine Science /Zoology from a recognized University.

4. Name of the post : Junior Technician

Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor of Science with post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries or Bachelor of science with Zoology/Botany from a recognize University

5. Name of the post : Laboratory Assistant
No of Post : 01 (Ex- servicemen)
Pay scale : level 4
Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should haveBachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry or Zoology from a recognized University.
- candidate should have Two years experience in Laboratory work related to the water and soil analysis.

6. Name of the post : Fisheries Surveyor
No of Post : 03 (1-SC,1 PWD(HH),1-Exservicemen)
Pay scale : level 2
Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Desirable : Successful completion of training as recognized by Fishermen Training Centre under State Government.
- Knowledge of konkani

Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Should be computer literate.

Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution. OR Successfully completed the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in relevant trade.
- Candidate should have Six months training course in Fisheries Training Centre preferably with experience on fishing vessel or Certificate from Maritimes School Britona or any other recognized Institute.
- Knowledge of swimming and two years sea going experience.
- Should be physically strong with good eyesight and sense of hearing.

Educational Qualification requirement :
- Candidate should have Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution. OR Successfully completed the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in relevant trade.
- Candidate should have Six months Fisheries Training course Centre Course.
