Eligible Candidates are requested to attend walk in interview for the following post :

1. Name of the post : Assistant Professor in Economics

No of Post : 02 (01 CCL Vacancy)

Nature of post : on Lecture Basis 

Date and time of the interview : 21-12-2020 at 2.30 pm

Educational Qualification Requirements :

• Good academic record (minimum second class at the undergraduate level in the concerned subject) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, 
• or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. For candidates belonging to reserved category relaxation regarding qualifications and age will be granted as per rule in force. 
• Candidates should have cleared the eligibility test NET/SET for Asstt. Prof. conducted by UGC/CSIR/University recognized by UGC. 
• However, candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree Regulation 2009) in the concerned subject as incorporated in relevant Goa University Ordinance shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. 
• In case candidates having passed the said eligibility test or possessing Ph.D. in the concerned subject are not available or not found suitable, candidates fulfillinf other conditions would be considered for appointment

Other details :

• The post will be filled up only if workload warrants.
• Incomplete applications may not be considered.
• Nature of the post and service conditions may vary as per Goa University/Goa Government Orders in force from time to time
• Candidates should produce complete applicatiions in all respects along with attested photo copies of marksheet of all public examinations from SSC onwards and 15 years of residence certificate in original at the time of interview.
• Knowledge of Konkani and marathi required.
